Knitting for Dolly

Judy has been knitting outfits for dolls and is now using her lace edging patterns from Stitches to make doll skirts. Here are pictures of her nifty outfit and sweater. I hope that you enjoy them.

Stitches South!!!

My sister in law, Judy, and I went to Atlanta, at the end of April, to Stitches South. This is a huge convention with classes on almost anything knitting and even some crocheting. There were vendors from all over the country at the Market Place. It was better than a Christmas Market for yarn junkies. Of course we bought more yarn and took fun classes in beading. We also got some darling earrings made of sliced up metal needles. If you ever get a chance to attend one of these Stitches Conventions, go. It was a little pricey but worth a one time trip. Here is a link to the next one in Sept. Stitches Midwest in IL.

New Dolls

Here is RuRu by Elfdoll. I have wanted her for such a long time. I was lucky enough to find her on a doll group for a very decent price. She is one of two SD size resin dolls that I own. Since I really prefer the smaller dolls, she and Lydia, the other big girl, will get to hold the special place of Queens of the doll room.
RuRu needs a new name. We are working on that.

More Lace

The yarns were wonderful. Notice all the different looks one can get from the same pattern just by changing the yarn.

More projects!

Lace Knitting Class by Knitting Fairy

Here are some pictures from the lace knitting class given by Knitting Fairy two weeks ago.
It was fabulous and I had a great time. The first pictures are of projects that we were working on during the class. I learned so much and I want to thank Alyssa for being such a good teacher.

Fabric Dolls

The new link is under Fabric dolls. I hope to add more doll makers in the future.

Enjoy!
