Scribble Knitting - What a concept!

I have just discovered Scribble knitting. What a wonderful concept! This is a wonderful way to make a shawl for those of us in the southern portion of the USA. Just enough warmth but not too much. Right now I am knitting a shawl that is similar to a Scribble knit using Karabella Gossamer yarn. The scribble is built right into the yarn. What I like about the Scribble is using up bits and pieces of yarns that are wonderful but you don't have enough to make a project on it's own. Hopefully I will get some pictures up soon of the shawl that I am now working on.
While there are lots of patterns for this technique on the web, Mason-Dixon Knitting and Debbie New's Unexpected Knitting have good instructions for this.
Now I have two loves in knitting, felted purses and Scribble shawls. More to come on this.

Janis - This sounds very intriguing. I belong to several knitting groups and haven't heard this mentioned. Any pictures?
